工程大使 Application

The 工程学院 (COE) Ambassadors are a select group of 学生 representing all departments within the U of I 工程学院. COE Ambassadors are a vital constituent in assisting the college in:

• Recruitment and retention of engineering and computer 学生,
• Idaho K12 outreach through STEM activities and competitions, and
• 校友 and industry partner relations.

COE ambassadors work closely with the 工程学院 Micron Student Center and UI的基础 teams. They have the opportunity to develop professional skills including communication and leadership, 专业, 道德决策, 以及多样性敏锐度. They also network with professionals and establish working relations with college and university faculty, 学生, staff and administrators across the University of Idaho. Ambassadors participate in recruitment and promotional activities, as well as alumni events. Travel (at the expense of the college) is required.

Serving as a 工程学院 Ambassador is an honor and a distinction. Being an ambassador requires a substantial time commitment. Due to the amount of resources invested in training and supporting ambassadors, there is a one year of service commitment required to the 工程学院 Ambassador program.
