61.62 - UI Property (Real Estate) Transactions

A. 一般. The acquisition or disposal of any interest in real property by the UI may require prior approval by the Board of Regents and are subject to relevant Board policies. B. 过程

B-1. 房地产交易. Any unit of UI desiring to enter into any transaction identified above, should direct an initial proposal or inquiry to the 房地产主任 at (208) 885-6468. The following types of real estate transactions include most, but not all, real property situations.(num. & ed. 7-09]

B-7. 不动产交易. The UI may enter into real property exchange transactions with the private sector when such transactions further the long-term best interests of UI. Exchanges require prior approval of the Board of Regents and follow the same process as for the purchase of real property. (任. 7-09]

B-10. 融资安排. The acquisition of real property by the UI may require making financial arrangements to pay for property over a period of time (see APM 25.20).
